Bread for the World offers a variety of multimedia methods to help you educate yourself and your church, campus or community about the Offering of Letters issues.
Offering of Letters DVD
The 2010 Offering of Letters DVD contains the 2010 Offering video (approximately 8 minutes); “We Are Bread for the World” (1- and 7-minute versions); and an invitation from David Beckmann (2 minutes) to participate in the 2010 Offering. The DVD is available in English and Spanish.
The Offering of Letters DVD is a great resource for many settings:
- during coffee hour or other gathering times for several weeks before your Offering;
- near the letter-writing tables during the Offering;
- at a class at church or on campus, especially one that deals with hunger and/or justice issues;
- on your church’s Web site by adding a link to www.bread.org/OL2010;
- on your church, campus, or retirement community television station.
Also, consider ordering the Spanish version for church and community events.
The 1-minute “We Are Bread for the World” can be shown during a worship service just before you explain what the Offering of Letters is about.
